Kids Hangers  

The better organizational accessories you have in a child’s room the easier it is for them to keep their room clean.  Kids hangers along with shelving, cubbies and containers are all great things to have for organizing bedrooms.  Whether you coordinate a whole organizing system in the closet or have separate pieces for different items, you’ll want to incorporate a system to help your kids along in keeping their room clean and clutter-free.

There are many different kinds of closet systems that you can custom design to have just the right elements to suit you child’s belongings.  If they have a lot of little things like cars, dolls, lego or other building systems, bins of various sizes will be best to hold each different collection and a cubby space in the closet can hold the containers.  This allows the little things to be picked up and easily tossed into the bins and slipped on a shelf to avoid that cluttered look of everything thrown into one big toy box.  

Along with the shelving and / or cubbyholes, a bar for hanging up clothing and other belongings is most helpful.  Having the bar at a good height for the child to reach is a good idea, if possible, and using a set of hangers that seem fun or special in other ways will be encouraging for the child to want to hang up their own clothes.  There is a wide array of creative hangers that you can choose from like silk covered fabric hangers, beaded hangers, painted wood hangers and hangers that have Disney characters on them.  You can also get less decorative hangers in the smaller size like wire hangers, slimline hangers and wood hangers to add a nice touch to the hanging area.  You can use that bar for more than just hangers too.  Hang bags that contain different items for organizing or get a hanging jewellery bag for a girl to have all her jewellery organized in one place.

For bedrooms that don’t have a closet or have a very small closet, there are a number of different units you will be able to place in the bedroom to accommodate hanging clothes, shelving and extra storage space.  Wall mounted shelving is also a good option depending on the layout of the room and hanging a wall organizer would be a good method of keeping all the little things in a convenient place.  For hanging clothes you could place a garment rack in the room, which is a basic standing bar for use primarily with hangers.  You will be able to find a variety of sizes to be the appropriate fit for the amount of hanging space needed as well as for the space available in the room.  Using decorative hangers on this type of visible clothes hanger would be an especially good idea since they will be seen most of the time and some fun looking hangers will make it more visually appealing.

With some creative storing and organizing ideas any bedroom can stay organized even if you’re leaving it up to the kids to keep it that way.  Some unique kids hangers, fun and colourful shelving and creating a place for everything with labels will be just what your children need to stay clutter free.
